As I look towards the door, the footsteps come to a halt. A shadow emerges from the darkness, and the door creaks open. The ground pounds as the steel cap boots from the black clothed detective hit the floor. He has a cold blooded voice that sends a shiver running down my spine. He begins the meeting with ‘why’.

He looked back in front of him and froze suddenly. His whole body paralyzed in fright as he felt a cold, shaky breath on his neck. Rio turned round slowly and his legs melted beneath him. The same moment I decided to quicken my speed, a deer burst through the night. I screamed, stumbled and hit the ground with a loud thump. I sat on the moist ground for a moment to try to recover but my heart began to throb as if it was beating within my throat.

I knew I was in for a dark journey home. I had decided that by traveling through the forest would be the quickest way home. Minutes passed, yet it seemed like hours and days. The farther I traveled into the forest, the darker it seemed to get. I was very had to even take a breath due to the stifling air.
